WOODY BAY FALLING WATER 2 Bedrooms

Clean, warm, cosy & well equipped

Too remote for me but my son loved it

- more than enough space for 2 people - nice beds - we slept really well - vey quiet in the evening - enough parking space (free) - we never saw the host (hence a negative rating)- but we also never needed the host - key was stored in a key lock next to the front door and instructions about how to get access to those keys were provided in time so all good.

- apartment has 2 bed rooms - each having its own bath room - but mold (!) in the bath room everywhere - mold in the jointing - mold on the shower curtain, very visible mold behind the sink in one of the bath rooms - you cannot miss it! Have you heard of bleach? Makes you think - how clean is the rest exactly if you miss this?? - apartment is part of a bigger block - the bigger part is under construction for several years already (looking at earlier pictures on booking.com it is under construction for over 2 years) - scaffolding everywhere including crap everywhere - visible from the apartment - the apartment comes with a terrace- pictures on booking show a sunny terrace. Not sure at what time of the day these pictures on booking.com were taken but we hike a lot - we were at the apartment only in the morning and in the late afternoon but we -never- had sun on the terrace. The apartment does not have an aircon - but because the sun hardly 'touches' the apartment internally it always had a cool temperature (which we liked) - the road at which the apartment is located directly connects to 'valley of rocks' - a very nice but very touristic area, We saw many cars and noisy bikes coming up from and going down to 'valley of the rocks' ... despite the limited time we were at the apartment.

Excellent Location, sea view, two bathrooms, WiFi, well equipped. Easy cycle in to Lynton past stunning views.

No option for recycling despite other properties nearby having recycling , noise from upstairs whenever people moved and the loudest hoover (in the apartment upstairs) that I’ve ever heard!

Lovely appartment in a fantastic location with great sea views. We enjoyed lots of walking in the area and swimming in the tidal pool in the bay.
