"Disappointed and tired ."

Easy to find location . Very friendly staff who did their best to make the stay a good experience.

Struggled with sleep due to a hot room, we opened the window but then there was busy road noise plus the loud bass rave music in the pub was louder than the tv . I ended up using ear plugs to drown out the music while sleeping . Overall the room was ok with a clean bathroom but only let down by noise .

"Nice place, friendly staff"

Property was lovely, staff in the bar were really nice and so was the locals

On google they showed they done food in the pub but they don’t , the shop shuts at 8pm and then you are stuck in the middle of no where, the stay was lovely but after working a long day had to plan in getting food instead of being able to go down stairs and order a few pints and getting dinner

"Overpriced, but bareable for 1 night"

Check in was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was lovely and powerful. Area was very quiet. Bed was quite comfy. Decent sized car park. The pub looked great but we didn’t have time to visit

The room had very uneven flooring; fell over a particularly raised bit of floor by the bed several times. The furniture was at crazy angles & im not sure how it didn’t fall over. The 2 plug sockets by the TV and kettle didn’t work, so we had to plug kettle in by bedside table which wasn’t safe. There was only only 2 working sockets in the room. Shower took a long time to heat up. WiFi didn’t work; neither of us could get it on on our phones

"Conveniently located comfortable guest room in local inn"

The room was nicely prepared with tea and coffee making facilities. It was spacious with a comfortable bed.

Even if there is not currently a chef in situ, it still would have been possible to put on a continental breakfast for guests, which would have been a nice touch.

"Beautiful Base"

Lovely host, spotlessly clean, smart TV in room. Super close to Alton Towers which was the reason for my visit

Guest Wifi signal is terrible but thankfully we had our own mobile data
