We stayed at this property in Mayotte and encountered a distressing issue that I feel is important to share with potential guests. With the consent of the host, we left our bags in the room after checkout from where it got moved to another room, and after retrieval, my friend discovered that $1,500 USD wad missing. I want to advise future guests to exercise caution if choosing to stay here. Unfortunately, I found that seeking support from the booking platform was challenging due to the difficulty in proving such incidents. This experience has highlighted a significant concern regarding the security of personal belongings on the premises. While the location and other aspects of the accommodation may be appealing, this incident has overshadowed my overall experience. For those considering this property, I recommend either taking extra precautions with your valuables or reconsidering your stay to avoid potential issues similar to what we experienced.

The location is walking distance from the centre of Mamoudzou

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the room. Even in the greatest cities of Europe you can get a better room for the same price. There was not a single hook to even hang the towel. Nothing had been cleaned properly. The water is cut from 4pm until morning in Mayotte, so by the morning everything smelled. It is so easy to install a water tank if you're going to be charging people this kind of money! But worst of all was a complete lack of ventilation. I'm allergic to AC, and there was no fan. The only window looked out onto a cement fence and didn't open. I couldn't sleep and felt very ripped off.

Good location, close to a big market and the ferry. Very clean. Secure. Friendly and helpful host.
