The Old Palace Resort Klong Sa Bua

The owner is very helpful, sorted out all my travels and tours for me, very welcoming and kind. The resort is beautiful with so many plants and trees, very relaxed and peaceful

The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Nice staff. I think what I liked most was being around a bit of nature, despite it being in a city. Whilst sitting on the patio at night, I saw a very large tokay gecko, which was great. Some nice bird life, too.

Not really a problem for me, but as mentioned by others, it is a bit tired looking. I think it adds to the charm, though. It is a bit of a walk to the centre. As mentioned by someone else, there are some dogs on the way that will bark a bit. They're very small dogs and didn't give me any hassle. If it's an issue, walk on the other side or the road or use transport to get where you'd like to go.

The room was spacious. The staff was friendly.

There was an ant problem in the bathroom. Ants were coming in and out of small holes in the bathroom. Additionally, there was no “do not disturb” sign so I assumed they wouldn’t clean the room unless I asked them to. They did clean the room so I asked them not to go into the room and clean for the remainder of the days. They acted like they understood what I was saying but the next day, they cleaned the room again.

The staff was very kind and helpful The location is great The room and bed are excellent and clean I would stay there again

This is a good place for a budget tourist. Close enough to the major attractions. The place itself is not as special as I thought it would be though.
