Great location - restaurants, bars, Latin quarter very close by. River just behind property with nice walks. Comfortable bed. Free fast Wifi. Adequate cooking facilities if you need to do so.

Wrong address listed on Booking.com. Lockbox would not close properly and so had to bank it shut with my hand and hurt myself in the process. Washer and dryer in pictures but no connecting cables so could not use them. Even after putting all light switches on and off, could not find light switch for the kitchen - maybe just me. No book outlining facilities on site. Paid street parking only except overnight if free.

Great location! Washing machine and dryer were very useful. The apartment was quiet, notwithstanding its location. Good communications and prompt responses.

The bed is not comfortable, especially for taller people. The pillows are lumpy. The kitchen needs a bit more equipment. Parking is really problematic, so I would not advocate it for drivers. It needs a good spring clean.

Really comfortable bed. Very clean, modern unit. Great location, minutes to Galway’s West End and the harbour. Good wifi speed. Felt safe in the unit.

TV was not connected to wifi. Host tried to rectify but unable to resolve.

The apartment is well fitted out with appliances. Close to pubs, restaurants and city centre. Vibrant location Rear courtyard to sit out in.

Parking is difficult on the street during the day but free at night . Need a guide book to show how to work the door locks and the T V and a map for the town

Good location, quiet, and we appreciated the washer and dryer on-site.

It would have been helpful to have the water heater set and running before our arrival, instead of having to first ask the owner where it was and then climb onto a bar stool to turn it on. The apartment is ok but could use more hooks and more than one kitchen towel for a three-day stay. The bed was small and uncomfortable.

The dirty apartment is centrally located.

There was no hot water in any taps in this apartment. The bed linen, while assured it was fresh, was filthy! When I pulled back the quilt, the sheets were all crumbled, creases as though someone has just got out of bed. That sheet had dubious black dots of something in it. However, when I looked at the bottom sheet there were two large marks of what I believe was urine on it- disgusting. The pillows had no pillow protectors and one pillow had NO cover/ pillow case on it at all. On reporting this to the ow- who does NOT like to be contacted- it was too early in the morning to take call, he was taking his children to school, why was I ringing “was there a fire in the apartment “. In relation to no hot water in the taps Malcolm the owner said “but there is hot water in the electric shower “. I said this was not good enough he said he would TRY to get a plumber for next day. With regard the sheets and the photos to prove my point, he denied they were dirty and said they were washed in laundry and changed daily. !!! Instead of dealing with the problem, Malcolm said it was better we find another place to stay!! I told him I was in Ireland for a few days to visit family and friends, that I had many people to meet after not having been in Ireland for 14 years. I also told him I had advanced Cancer, but living with it at the moment, I didn’t need the stress of having to go looking for accommodation on a Friday night in Galway, I offered to buy new sheets myself just to stay in the place and Malcolm still asked us to leave. I swear to whoever is reading this, the only thing we did’wrong’ was to complain about an apartment with no hot water and a filthy, filthy bed.
