Vastapäinen julkisivuremontti aiheutti sen, ettei asunnon ainoata ikkunaakaan voinut pitää auki ja silti melu ja pöly tulivat sisään. Odotimme avainta kaksi tuntia, eikä majoittaja vastannut puhelimeen.

The property was well positioned in the centre of the old town and had a nice feature wall of stone.

The property had no balcony or access to views as shown in the description. There was construction right across from the unit, so we had to keep the doors and windows shut to keep the dust out. We had no natural light and felt cooped in. In addition the plumbing was blocked and we couldn’t have a decent shower. It took 24hrs for the host to address the problem. He fixed it, but it was a bit annoying that it took so long. The toilet was also very dirty and we needed to fumigate the bathroom with air freshener to get rid of the sewerage smell. Unfortunately these issues made our stay uncomfortable and we would not go back to this property.

The apartment is located within close proximity to the sea and many restaurants

On the day of arrival, the street was closed due to construction, and the entrance to the apartment was blocked. It took about 5 minutes for the workers to unblock the entrance and move their tools at our request. Construction workers were wearing helmets, and it didn’t feel safe to enter the apartment. Our host didn’t send us any communication about it. I find it hard to believe that he wasn’t aware of the situation, and we didn’t even know whether we were supposed to enter the closed street area to access the apartment. It was so noisy that we could barely hear ourselves talking inside. The apartment is very small — suitable for 1–2 people. The host unexpectedly showed up in the evening, one day before checkout, to collect documents. He did not speak any English, and I had to spend about 30 minutes communicating with him using a translator.
