Casita Casita Lindos - Adults Only

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Casita Casita. This small, beautifully designed hotel is one of the best hotel experiences we have encountered with over 20 years of overseas travel. Casita Casita has a perfect position situated between the main beach and the town of Lindos - both a short 5 min walk. Everyday we were greeted with the most perfect breakfast, a serene oasis and the wonderful smiling caretakers Stav and Mos who expertly managed our stay. Thank you again so much for all the little details which make your hotel a cut above the rest. We hope to return in the not to distant future.

The detail of the nightclub Friday and Saturday nights requires guests to be smart and pack some really good earplugs. This is at no fault or the hotels and they stated it clearly so we were prepared. I slept well with my earplugs!

Our second visit, it was so perfect last year we thought, why go anywhere else! Everything was as we left it, fabulous breakfast, comfortable rooms with high quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Unbeatable location, right next to the beach and town but such a peaceful oasis. You’ll always get a bed by the pool. The best part though is the wonderful ladies who manage the property, they make it special and do such an amazing job. Make sure to tip them well, they deserve it! We’ll be back next year no doubt.

Quiet, calm, beautifully decorated, excellent breakfast and the loveliest staff! Great proximity to town and the beach. We’d recommend it to anyone.

No issues during our stay at all, it was perfect, however if we were to go later in the year the nightclub across the road would be a problem for us!

Everything was very well thought through and so lovely. İ stayed here with my mum as a gift for her and we honestly had such a relaxing time. The best part for me was the little kitty, Shadow, he is such a charmer. İ will miss Casita Casita. Thank you for making our stay so amazing ladies!

We spent a week at Casita, Casita, Oct 2023. I can honestly say, that it was one of the most enjoyable holiday experiences we have ever had. We loved the spacious, rustic feel of the resort, perched above the beach which is just a five minute walk away. The location is perfect for mooching around the shops, bars and restaurants of Lindos, again just a short walk away. However, what set Casita Casita apart for us was the hosting provided by the two delightful managers, Irina and Moss. Not only did they produce a glorious breakfast each day but they were always on hand to assist will our every need, nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend this resort enough. Breakfast was lovely. The grounds were very peaceful and would have been a lovely place to sit. The location was perfect - an easy walk to the beach and an easy walk to the town. Lovely toiletries. Nice people. For the location alone, I would certainly recommend the hotel if it were not for my concerns around value for money and the nightclub- see below.

We felt the value for money was poor. It is an expensive hotel - the room was quite small and very basic, the bed a mattress on the floor (it was a good mattress, but you did feel you were sleeping on the floor), there was no clothes storage beyond a rail with hangers and there was no way of blacking out the room (shutters were blocked by the mosquito net). The shower was in the room, there was no separate shower room - given that I was travelling with a parent, that was not ideal, and I was not aware in advance. There was no seating. All, I expect, design choices, but certainly much more basic than the room appeared in photos (and the price would suggest). Water in our fridge was not refilled two of the four nights we were there, which is an issue as you cannot drink the tap water (I appreciate we could have asked - frankly, after conversations about a refund because of the club, see below, we felt uncomfortable making more complaints). Pool was very small - fine, the beach is an easy walk. When arriving, we were told that there was an open air nightclub (it is just across the road), which would be open midnight to 6am Friday/Saturday (our last two nights). The suggestion was made that we might want to go to bed at 10pm to be able to sleep. I can’t comment on how the noise would have been as we rebooked and left early (having to get back to a stressful job on Monday, the risk of two sleepless nights was not one we were prepared to take). In fairness, the manager agreed to refund those nights and while the refund took a few weeks, the process was straightforward. I know some reviewers managed with the noise, but anyone booking should be aware that the club is very close. I know there is a mention of the club in some very small print - when I checked, the opening times were not mentioned and I strongly feel that this should have been drawn to our attention before we travelled. I would have made other arrangements.

Tranquil location. Beautiful old olive trees. Great views. Amazing breakfasts outdoors in lovely garden. Comfortable, clean room. Short walk to Lindos main beach and into town. Mos and Irene really looked after us superbly well. Nothing was too much trouble- the management of Casita Casita by Mos deserves special mention.
