Cosy City Center studio w balcony

Fantastic apartment. Very safe, situated in a very nice tidy complex, well secure. Very close walk to the city (Sky Tower area) and the viaduct area is just down the road in other direction. We got the SkyBus (booked online and got great discounts for 3 of Us with the return booking) from airport to SkyCity, then just an easy walk slightly downhill to the secure lockbox building to get the key, and then around the corner to the apartment complex. Very easy. Viaduct/Silo area Friday evening food stalls were cheap and tasty. There's a public bus stop just around the corner from apartment, get an AT Card organised beforehand and it's so cheap and easy to get around and visit all the touristy spots. Different coloured busses for the different "loop rides" around the City. Use AT Card for cheap Ferry tickets to Devonport too. Apartment is in absolutely Superb location! Really quiet at night, no big traffic noise. The apartment has everything you need. Metro supermarket 5-7mins walk away around gorgeous boardwalk area by the boats. It closes a bit early some days, so check the hours. Sofa bed was comfy and decent size for my tall teenage son. Oven/cooktop easy to use. Shower great . Didn't use dishwasher, washing machine or dryer. All crockery, utensils , etc well supplied. The key swipe access works on the building doors at each end, which was handy when getting back from different directions. Would definitely stay again.

Although there was all the equipment there, the wifi wasn't available. Pretty sure I read that it was supposed to be, but when I queried, I was told No I was wrong. I have two teen sons, I only ever book places with wifi lol. I changed their phone plans to accomodate the 3 nights data.

Great location in Auckland! Unbeatable for a tourist. It felt safe and hey pick up was easy. The apartment had most things I needed and is a great base if you're spending most of your day out sightseeing.

The street noise with windows open was a bit loud at times, as this is right on the street, but fine with windows closed. I would have liked there to have been a hair dryer. Prior guests have damaged the couch and towel rail etc, so the decor is fine, comfortable and sufficient but not high quality and clearly well used.

L'emplacement est génial. La chambre est propre et suffisante pour notre séjour.

Des petits travaux de rénovations sont à prévoir quand même (trous et fissures dans le mur), pas de Wi-Fi alors qu'il y avait une box de branchée.

The previous tenant was supposd to leave the key in the keybox but apparently didn't. However a key was delivered in about 1/2 hour. Excellent location for a base to explore Auckland. Right next to restaurants, bars etc. Easy walk to SkyTower. The room was spacious and comfortable.

There were a few maintenance issues that were a little annoying but we didn't let them spoil our stay. Some were not the fault of the management (like new modem installed but provider hadn't "switched on" the internet). The room does not have airconditioning but a fan is provided. The hot water tank which is in a cupboard seems to keep the place warm - great for winter but could be a problem in hot weather. On the Saturday night there was some noise from revellers leaving the entertainment precinct. The unit is on the ground floor.

Early notification of key collecting details, there was no wifi and I could not use my phone, there was damage to the walls but I was not informed of this, air conditioning did not exist even though the advertisement listed it, no security on the balcony windows and no fly screens to enable windows to be opened on this ground floor unit, the temperature was hot and sleeping difficult as a result, wall lights not working, no soap for hand basin. Because there was no wifi, I did not receive details of key drop off in time, and had to leave them on the table inside. A spoilt holiday. When I spoke to the owner, using a friend’s phone, she told me that I should not expect any more of the accommodation as it was cheap. However, my friend was staying on the wharf area, with no issues, beautiful view, air conditioning, wifi for only $8, booked through Booking.com.

Everything else, can only confirm the previous comment as nothing changed. To summarize: Poorly cleaned, unsafe, and in need of a major renovation before being considered suitable for guests. Main issues: - Poorly maintained, dirty kitchen and bathroom, lingering bad odors. - No air conditioning, limited ventilation. - Garbage bin without liner, bad smell in cupboards, dirty oven, unsafe cooktop, broken dishwasher with water inside - Cobwebs, hair in corners, cracked/sagging mirror doors, broken heated towel rack brackets, grimy shower screen with sharp edge - Unstable and rotting balcony floor and chair - Wall with cracks and a hole in sleeping area - Nonfunctional internet

A poorly maintained property. No air conditioning, limited ventilation. Apartment has bad smell, especially in kitchen cupboards and drawers. Not properly cleaned, bad smell from garbage bin which had no liner bag. Cooktop is scary, oven is dirty. Bathroom has cobwebs and tangled hair in corners. Cracked and sagging mirror doors on cabinet, heated towel rack has sharp broken brackets. Shower screen frame is grimy and has a sharp corner at base. Dishwasher not working as the electric switch is broken and unsafe. Internet not working, cables and electrical cables are tangled and not connected. Wall in sleeping area has a hole and cracks. Balcony floor is rotting and unstable, top railing is rotting, outdoor furniture is unstable. Seriously, this apartment needs a major makeover, and safety issues need to be addressed before someone is injured. Of the numerous places I have stayed in from Booking.com, this is the worst. Please remove this property from the site.
