"Unfortunately, I can not recomend this property."

Location was very central and there was a great deal of space - both in the living areas and in the bedrooms. Also, the kitchen was well appointed.

When we arrived there was excrement in the toilet and the wast basket next to the toilet had used toilet paper in it. When we contact the host they sent someone over who theorized that the last guest must have returned to the house after they cleaned it and used the toilet which, of course, is very concerning given that they had access to the house we were staying in - obviously they don't change the front door code between guests. The other possibility is that the cleaning person simply went to the toilet, defecated, and forgot to clean up after themselves. That said, the beds need replacing - of all the hotels/B&Bs I have stayed at over the years these were the worst.

Location is unbeatable.

Facilities need maintenance. Little rusty here and there. Terrace looking nice for pictures but not inviting.

Excellent location. Beautiful view Plenty of space

Door lock was a bit temperamental around first and we thought we were locked in ! It was OK once we got the hang of it.

"Great stay in a Modern House in Central Corfu Old Town"

Fantastic stay at Summer by the Sea. Location was excellent, really central in Corfu Old Town. Loved the balcony over looking the sea, the whole house matched the pictures online. The late check out on our final day was really helpful as we didn't have a flight until 10pm - the host was really quick to reply to our request!

"Excellent house"

Excellent location, only 200m away from a swim at Faliraki and 200m away from Spianada square. Lovely modern house with small balcony to enjoy the seaside view. Air con in every room which was needed in the heat. They let us have a late checkout which really helped us as well. Gave great recommendations for local Greek authentic restaurants also!

Dishwasher doesn't work due to the hard water in Corfu but wasn't a major issue. Owners definitely know Corfu so a booklet with info like best restaurants, and how best to get around the island would be helpful for future guests
