It’s amazing !!! surrounding by nature and quiet. A little further that we expected but we totally enjoyed out stay

A second bathroom upstairs would be great but we understand the space is a little tight

Ohhhh we loved the place. We stayed another day and didn't want to leave. At all.. Carmen was wonderful, and the owner, Dominique, was very helpful, even though they were not there at the time. The most relaxing and beautiful place I've ever been at (throughout ALL my traveling), in the middle of the jungle, with a beautiful woden house, a huge garden with wonderful flowers, birds and animals (including the horse)... and to top it all, a small private river. Beds and rooms were comfortable, and so was the kitchen with elementary, but enough equipment. The place is not too far from the village but you would need a car to get there. The road is not ideal (a dirty road), but really, we didn't have a problem even though it was raining cats and dogs when we first got there, so we were a bit anxious at the beginning. Well, the place is simply worth it. Alone in nature.

Well, there was a power outage, which also affected the water pump. It took several hours to come back, but it was fixed, and everything was back to its wonderful self. The owner, Dominique, and Carmen took care of us. The only problematic thing is the hot water that comes and goes, but always comes back. So not a big deal in our book, because everything else is so special.

What an amazing place! We felt so comfortable, safe, and perfectly tucked in nature.

Because surroundings, lush gardens and a big veranda to relax in, beautiful walk to a private waterfall, welcoming and helpful host.

Everything was simply PERFECT!! From the chalet to the property to the jungle trails(!!!!) and the horse and so much more. Mindo is a very calm and quiet town with zero danger for tourists. Everyone is very very nice. The host, Dominique, was always helpful and available. The room(s) was beautiful and the kitchen/living room had huge windows, it felt like paradise. I would come back 100%.

Beautiful grounds and very comfortable.

This home was further away from town than advertised. It advertised itself as 0.6 miles from town, but it was definitely further. Also, there was a smoke detector that brief constantly -- the smoke detector needs to be fixed.

The property is perfect for spending quality time with your family and unwinding in a lovely environment.

Everything! The house is very charming and comfortable. The environment was so peaceful and relaxing. Dominique was helpful and Orangel, her property manager, was kind and also very helpful! We’ve stayed many places in Ecuador and this was my absolute favorite!

It’s not easy to get to but that is what makes it so peaceful and calm! There is nothing I didn’t love about this place.
