Great location, beautiful property and a fabulous host

Every aspect of our stay was lovely, largely due to the hospitality provided by Harvey and Roxy. The breakfasts were exceptional.

Nothing major; the lack of car parking was a minor irritation but this is very clearly explained on the St Valery website so our expectations to hunt for a space were set in advance.

The property was tastefully and well appointed throughout

A little bit of luxury, wonderful hosts, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was excellent for the two of us who ha differing courses

Everything! Beautiful, spacious room - tasteful and comfortable, with every facility the heart could desire. Lovely bathroom, also spacious, with a great shower and plenty of hot water. All absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were well cooked, plentiful and delicious, with a great menu to choose from, and Harvey willing to accommodate special requests. The X-factor was, in fact, Harvey and his enthusiastic co-host, Roxy (the Jack Russell/Dachshund). You couldn’t wish for a more welcoming host, with lots of advice and information on the area, which was very useful. A very entertaining and interesting person to talk to,with a great sense of humour. Entertaining and hosting is Harvey’s forté.

The accommodations were quite comfortable. A large very comfy bed. Wonderful breakfasts in an adorable tiny village in Northumberland.

It was a 3 floor walkup. Not sure if that was identified in the listing. My husband has problems with stairs. I would have chosen a different room had I known.
