Chalet 5 Florida Park Hemsby

Lovely spacious chalet tastefully decorated, clean tidy and fresh-smelling. We really enjoyed the selection of family games for inside and outside and the lovely open living room space to play them in and seating area and grass outside. The shower was really nice. The chalet was really convenient for Hemsby and further afield. The little onsite entertainment was friendly and enjoyable. It was great to explore Hemsby on foot and the Hemsby fireworks were fun to watch. The location felt very safe for the whole family. We were offered an early check in presumably due to previous guests' plans which made a lovely start to our holiday. Thank you!

The oven wasn't working during our stay - the owner was highly apologetic when advised. The TV signal was really poor.

Chalet and owners both lovely. Felt like a home from home. Very comfortable and has everything you need! Everything you need to be able to cook. Nice sitting area outside. Shower good pressure and hot (very hot so be careful haha) beds are really comfortable. Nice and comfortable living area with TV and lots of blurays to watch. Short walk down the road to the main Arcades and bars.

The actual holiday park needs some work doing to it. It did look run down in places and bins were overflowing constantly with rubbish all over the paths. There was building works going on directly over the road from where we stayed so lots of heavy machinery and noise. This is nothing negative on the actual chalet or owners though. That was all spot on :)

The Chalet was in a very quiet area. This was lovely for my husband and I as we seniors citizens. It was spacious inside for the 2 of us.

There is a lovely walk in shower . We wish that there was a support on the wall as my husband is nearly 80 and very shaky. So it was not used.

The chalet had no path across to it from the carpark, or lights. The ground around was partially flooded so we and our cases sank in the mud! Although the chalet looked tidy, the awful smell of damp, brought on an asthma episode, and even though we had all the doors and windows open for hours, it did not help. Also blood on the duvet. Our family refused to stay in the spare room, we also left after the first night and booked into a local hotel. So the trip cost us alot more than planned.

Lovely chalet, comfy, clean, and in just the right place for visiting loads of places along the coast.

Nothing to not like just i think the fridge freezer wasn’t working properly as it wasn’t that cold and milk and sausage went off and not great tv signal other than that a great stay
