Great host. Clean room. Fantastic breakfast

The property was as good as we could have expected. The help provided by our hosts was nothing but exceptional and more than would be normal.

The only slight problem for us was the hill. we are approaching 80 years of age and we are not as nimble as we used to be. we got round the hill problem by getting a taxi back from the town.

It was so clean and tidy,first class hosts,breakfast to die for 10/10

The B&B space is the whole of the top floor in Mark and Nicky's home. It has a dedicated entrance and there's a spiral staircase up from the hallway. The bedroom is spacious and quiet with a comfy bed. The bathroom is also a good size with plenty of towels and toiletries and a powerful shower. The stand out part of the space is the separate lounge area with comfy chairs, beautiful views, a selection of magazines and lots of hot drinks making facilities. Breakfast is served in this area and was excellent, with lots of options to suit different dietary requirements and preferences. The whole space is tastefully decorated and super clean. Mark and Nicky are absolutely lovely. They couldn't be more helpful and are really knowledgeable about the local area.

This was fine for us, but I think important to note here. The name gives it away - the house is on a hill. And there is a short but very steep bit of hill just before you get to the house. Parking is on the flat, but if you walk into Richmond, you'll be doing the hill on foot. Take it slowly, particularly on the way back!

Fabulous stay here! Just a few minutes from the centre of Richmond. The hosts, Mark & Nicky, made us feel very much at home, and the breakfast and facilities are great. Just a perfect getaway for a couple 😊.
