Central City Apartment 'The Olive'

We had a pleasant stay at the apartment, staying for four nights. Deborah was very helpful and responsive to our questions. I loved everything about this apartment; the owner clearly put thought into every little detail to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The place has a warm tone and creates a welcoming feeling. It's also in a very strategic location, approximately a 10-minute walk to town. We used Lime scooters to travel back and forth, which was a lot of fun. We’ll definitely comeback here next time we’re back in Christchurch.

Duvet is slightly heavy for a light person.

Beautifully styled and lots of thoughtful additions for a traveller like zip lock bags. Thank you for the great selection of hot beverages.

Would have liked a usb socket in one of the power points.

Lovely balcony. Easy-to-access parking space. Great natural light. Electrical outlet near dining table. Very well-equipped kitchen, including a blender. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Comfortable bed. Provided paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, and starter amount of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Responsive host.

Dining table chairs not very comfortable. No pasta strainer/colander. Overall, a great place to stay! Would definitely book again for an even longer stay.

Private secure car park. Use of lift. Clean and comfortable

Microwave in kitchen too high and dangerous to use as likelihood of spillage of hot food inevitable

Well appointed and great location. We had a car so the off street parking was a bonus too.

No real negatives.

Detailed and accurate instructions were sent to us before we arrived. The apartment was excellent and very comfortable and had all we needed. Was convenient to walk to an excellent pub for dinner (sorry, we accidentally left the leftover pizza in the fridge 😢)

Would have been helpful to know we could walk through to the apartment from the car spot (was great to have a car spot) as we went back through the gate and around to enter the block.
