The Lion Room at Frederick's Place

Atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, always ready and willing to help with what you may need, and Gus makes you feel at home. Freddie, the owner, is a very nice, accommodating and people's person, which is a rare find. The garden is beautiful and relaxing, making it easy to relax and enjoy some greenery. Great lapa with braai facilities (plenty of wood) for those who want to throw something on the BBQ where all the guests could come together for a good time. Rooms may be smoke free, though there is plenty of seating outside for those who do. Rooms are always clean, has all the needs of home, and a choco for your welcome.

Only pity is that not all the rooms have a little kitchenette with the use of a small stove.

In the Lion room, there was no warm water in the shower, however, previously I stayed in the Giraffe room and all was well.

We loved the privacy. We loved the comfort. We loved the room, the bathroom, the pool you name it. Only thing we would suggest is less creak on the door. Lol just a joke.
