The only thing we liked was the back garden for the dog

no heating, house was freezing. the fridge is broken so it froze the milk each moring and the food in the fridge, no hot water to downstairs shower, shower in main bathroom had now shower curtain so water went everywhere,sink was so small couldn't even wash in it. the toilet seat is broken the window to the bathroom is broken so you can't close it,which made the bathroom colder than the rest of the house which was already cold. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE ON THIS PROPERTY

The best part about the property was leaving - we didn’t stay here!

The house was cold, tired and tatty. The general decor was in complete disrepair. The sofa leg was broken, the wood was rotten with nothing to attach to. The wiring was not adequate, with extension reels being used. Exposed cables in places and not one appliance was PAT tested. The TV didn’t have standard channels, only YouTube or I-player. We were not told until after we checked in that the tv did not have an aerial, the dishwasher didn’t work and neither did the shower upstairs. The property was not cleaned to a reasonable standard. Upon contacting the host, we were not met with any apology for the state of the property - in fact they demanded we leave at 8.15pm (we had been there less than an hour) fortunately we managed to find a lovely air b&b for the evening which was far nicer than staying in that hovel!

Clean, tidy and comfortable house. Lovely quiet neighbours and street with ample room on the drive to park.

Literally the only niggle we had was the fact that all the doors are fire doors so, given we had our dogs with us as we were there competing at Crufts, it was slightly inconvenient not being able to have the doors open in between rooms.

Leaving the property.

The MICE!, the damage to the fixtures and fittings,(looks like its been rented out for parties where doors have been ripped off and not replaced), the the oven was filthy, lack of useable kitchen utensils, the unsafe pans which had the non-stick coating partially burned (these are toxic). The stench emanating from the broken dishwasher, no shower curtain in upstairs bathroom, the shower in the conservatory was just weird, the lack of window coverings that block out the light and the garden was very unkempt. Would only give a partial refund even though the property was not fit for habitation! Having worked a night shift on the Monday night, all we wanted was to be able to eat breakfast, have a shower and sleep before another night shift. It wasn't possible to do any of these in this property.

The sofa leg was broken upon arrival and the green bin was filled to the top with empty alcohol bottles. It looks like there was a party before we stayed there. They could've broken the sofa leg and propped it up so the cleaner couldn't see it. Now I'm being accused of breaking a sofa and they expect me to pay £500 for a sofa that's not even worth that.
