Mekong Pottery Homestay, Green-Friendly & Boat Tour

I loved it here: it was like a sanctuary after being in the city. The room was a really good size and so much care has been taken with lots of special, creative touches. Yennie, the owner, has produced a website full of recommendations and looks after her guests from start to finish. I would highly recommend the homestay.

Yennie and her family were so welcoming and kind. Her mom is an amazing cook and creates the most charmingly creative and delicious meals. It was hands-down our favorite place we’ve stayed in Vietnam. I would not want to have stayed at any other place — the nature, local guidance, and attention to detail Yennie + family provide was touching, the opposite treatment of many profit-focused hotels.

The tour was awesome and absolutely worth it (Henry is a joy to talk to and learn from) but a little pricey for us college students.

We loved our stay and can’t say enough good things about how Yennie and her wonderful multi-generational family make Mekong Pottery a home away from home. The creative attention to detail in everything: the room, outdoor common areas, meal presentation makes everything feel extra special. Bicycling around the area then relaxing on our little balcony area made for perfect days. We felt so well taken care of!

Très agréable séjour dans cette chambre d’hôtes familiale où l’accueil est très souriant, et où l’ensemble de la famille est toujours soucieuse de votre bien être. Yennie est une organisatrice hors pair, toutes ses propositions de balades ou de restaurants sont judicieuses. Notre guide Henri nous a proposé une sortie insolite à vélo et en bateau sur les bras du Mékong, avec la découverte de la fabrication de poteries, et bien d’autres choses encore. La possibilité de dîner sur place permet de goûter la délicieuse et authentique cuisine de la maman de Yennie, et le petit déjeuner servi en terrasse est très bon. C’est une adresse à recommander ! Un bel endroit, reposant et chaleureux. Yennie et sa famille sont très accueillants et aidants, c'est très agréable. Ne loupez pas le dîner cuisiné par la maman de Yennie, c'est un plaisir après une journée de visites. De bons vélos sont prêtés et des itinéraires proposés sur le site. C'est parfait ! We had a wonderful stay at Mekong Pottery Homestay in Vinh Long. The host, Yennie and her family were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Communication was smooth, and the website was very well organized with clear information about the tours and activities. On our first day, we joined the Co Chien waterfront cruise tour. We rode bicycles to visit a local pottery factory, explored An Binh Island, and later visited a rice factory. The whole experience felt authentic, relaxing, and close to local life in the Mekong Delta. Highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking for a warm atmosphere and a genuine local experience in Vietnam!

Yennie and her parents are adorable. We felt warmly welcomed in this beautiful and friendly homestay. We ate two delicious dinners there and had great time cycling in the area!

Hospitalité de Yennie et de sa famille. Se mettent en quatre pour vous satisfaire. N'oublions pas la cuisine succulente de sa maman et que dire du petit déjeuner, tous les soirs on vous demande ce que vous désirez . Tout est parfait. De l'accueil au départ. Vous avez la possibilité de louer des scooter sur place et les vélos sont gratuits. Je recommande vivement cet établissement. Un havre de paix pas loin du tumulte de la ville.
