Mekong Pottery Homestay, Green-Friendly & Boat Tour

A great and beautiful homestay with many designer details with the most kind and thoughtful family (and Tommie, a cutie little dog). Amazing opportunity to talk to Yennie, who speaks fluent English, and understands us, foreign tourists. Always willing to help and provide the best homestay experience. Vinh Long feels like a really authentic place with not many tourists, but many beautiful spots (which you can explore on a bicycle) with many fruit gardens, the biggest fruit market, potteries and many other things. Definitely recommend to visit.

Yennie ist die perfekte Gastgeberin! Sie ist sehr liebevoll und jeder Zeit für einen da. Der Garten des Homestays ist sehr schön, ruhig und man kann bei jedem Wetter Stunden unter der Überdachung sitzen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden die Unterkunft jedem Empfehlen, der Natur, Ruhe und Kreativität mag.

Eine total schöne im grünen gelegene Unterkunft in der alles mit Liebe gemacht ist. Sehr saubere und gemütliche Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse zum Essen. Yennie und ihre Familie sind super - nett, herzlich, gastfreundlich und helfen bei allen möglichen Themen. Auch der Ausflüge ins Mekong Delta mit Henry war super und der gemeinsame Kochkurs war ein Highlight für uns. Ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt!! Wir kommen gerne mal wieder :)

I am not exaggerating by saying that this was one of our best stays not only in Vietnam but worldwide. The room is spacious, clean and creatively decorated. It is however the helpfulness and personal treatment of the host Yennie and her family that makes the difference. On top of that, the breakfast and meals are just amazing. Thank you!

We spent three nights here for my birthday, and Yennie made our stay truly unforgettable. She’s such a natural hostess - incredibly kind, attentive, and always there to help with anything. The place itself is a little oasis right in the heart of the Mekong Delta — peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of love in every detail. Through Yennie we booked a cooking class and a massage, both absolutely worth it! She even helped us organize our arrival and departure, which made everything so easy. Dinner cooked by Yennie’s mom was amazing, especially the house specialty! And with the free bikes and Yennie’s suggested routes, we had the best time exploring the area. All in all, it was just perfect. We felt so welcome and cared for. We can’t recommend this place enough! 💛

L'accueil de Yennie et de sa famille était formidable. Le lieu est très agréable et calme. Un peu à l'écart du centre ville mais c'est ce qui fait que c'est calme. Yennie est très serviable et arrangeante. Il y a des vélos pour des petites balades et la possibilité de tour en bateau. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento del Mekong ha sido absolutamente fantástica 🌿✨. Desde el primer momento, Yennie nos recibió con una sonrisa y una amabilidad excepcionales. Es, sin duda, una de las anfitrionas más atentas que hemos conocido: siempre pendiente de todo, resolviendo cualquier detalle, ofreciéndonos desayuno, cenas deliciosas y toda la información necesaria para disfrutar al máximo de la zona. Su dedicación y hospitalidad hicieron que nos sintiéramos como en casa en todo momento. El lugar en sí es espectacular, rodeado de árboles y naturaleza, con una decoración vietnamita encantadora que transmite calma y autenticidad. Es el sitio perfecto para desconectar, descansar y vivir la experiencia del Mekong de una forma tranquila y cercana. El ambiente es relajante, el alojamiento está muy bien cuidado, y cada rincón tiene un toque especial. El trato recibido ha sido sin duda sin igual —una combinación de profesionalidad, cariño y atención personal que hace que este lugar destaque por encima de muchos otros. Un sitio totalmente recomendable, al que sin duda volveríamos. 🌸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir waren überwältigt mit welcher Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft Yennie und ihre Familie ihre Gäste empfängt. Das Homestay ist ein Ort zum wohlfühlen (liebevoll eingerichtet und wunderschön) - es war einfach alles perfekt - das Frühstück und das gebuchte Abendessen (alles frisch zubereitet) - mega lecker! Unsere 2 Tage bei Yennie waren ein Highlight unserer tollen Vietnam Reise. Mehrere Tage nach unserer Abreise habe ich Yennie nochmal wegen Fotos angeschrieben - innerhalb von Minuten hatte ich eine Rückmeldung- das hat mich so gefreut. Danke für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!!

Everything was just AMAZING 🤩 It starts at the arrival, with a personalised welcome and frensh limo (well it actually starts before with Yennie providing useful tips on how to arrive to Vinh Long and her homestay via WhatsApp). The room was very lovely and designed with taste and care. The garden is very luxurious and the rooms are far away from the street, so it is very calm and relaxing. Yennie and her family are so lovely and tool care of us during this few days. The breakfast was delicious, same for the homemade dinners. All the recommendations (restaurants, spa, excursions...) given by Yennie exceeded our expectations. Staying at the Mekong Pottery Homestay was truly one of the highlights of our trip to South Vietnam. We will definitely come back if we ever travel in this area again. Thank you Yennie for welcoming us in your house!

It was a whimsical welcoming gracious oasis. We felt totally cared for by Yennie and her family. Safe and tucked away from the street, beautiful garden, delicious healthy meals, excellent communication and attention to details. We loved the bikes, and accessibility to the market and river, the island tour, the website full of recommendations.
