La casa di Giulia

Casa accogliente, grande e arredata con gusto, ci si sente davvero a casa. La posizione è fantastica, immersa nella meravigliosa natura ai piedi dell'Etna. Tavolo grande in giardino, sdraio e dondoli in mezzo alle piante con una vista mozzafiato dull'Etna, fare colazione all'aperto è un'esperienza ed è un peccato andarsene. Siamo stati accolti con grande calore dai gestori, davvero gentilissimi, che ci hanno offerto vino fatto in casa e un simpatico ventaglio. Un luogo incantevole dove ritemprare il corpo e l'anima. Toreneremo! Grazie davvero!

This is a beautiful little home with a lovely garden and stunning views of Mount Etna and is a perfect location for exploring the volcano and surroundings. Loredana's hospitality was amazing and you couldn't ask for more. We we're left loads of bits for breakfast, little snacks, cakes and even some beers and a bottle of wine. My wife and I had the most amazing stay and can't recommend this place enough. There is also Roberto the dog who lives at the bottom of the garden who is gorgeous and very friendly. You will be best to hire a car though.

The location, the view and the bed were perfect. The sunset over the Etna was absolutely beautiful.

Super house with everything you need (full kitchen, outside seating areas and deck chairs, charcoal grill , washing machine, efficient heating system if it gets chilly, view of Etna - you name it...!) Located a bit back from the road, so traffic noise is also not an issue (be aware of the common countryside noises though: machines during day, dogs at night...). Breakfast is self-catering - again super nice. And best of all: the hosts are heartwarmingly friendly - we felt like " coming back home " right from the start. Highly recommended!

Without your own wheels you won't get anywhere (or even get there in the first place). Finding the right driveway the first time was a bit of an issue: best to also ask for a Foto of the driveway and the signpost ( alongside the coordinates), then it shouldnt be an issue.

Perfect location with a great view of Etna

The house is in a beautiful location with an amazing view of Etna volcan. It was really comfy and nice. The host provided us with different options for breakfast and a welcoming desert and drinks. The house is very well equipped, the garden is beautiful and there is a cute, friendly dog.

It was quite stressful to arrive. We would have appreciated a hint from the host to get the right way because we are not familiar with the region. We planned to arrive at 18, but unfortunately, we took the wrong direction. When we called, the host helped us to get to the right way, but we felt pressure to arrive on time for the check-in. We have to say that a check-in from 18 to 20.30 is quite a narrow time, especially if you have problems on the way. The lady suggested taking another place to stay in case we didn't manage to arrive before 20.30. Moreover, we called her beforehand to know if the place was reachable without problems with snow. There wasn't snow in the right way, so it would have been helpful to know that from the beginning. Instead, we encountered snow in a secondary route. We kindly advise to inform well about the route, especially during winter.

Nothing loved everything about the place

It is an amazing feeling to arrive to a holiday home and find everything ready and thought about. Giulia takes care of everything from the moment of the arrival to the moment the guests leave. She collected us from a meeting point and guided us to her beautiful house on the Etna slope in the midst of a meticulously kept garden. We had welcome aperitif, and we were offered fruits and nuts from the local orchard and eggs for breakfast from the nearby farm. We were there to attend a function but we will certainly come back to enjoy that magnificent view of Etna from Giulia's garden.
