Villa Parque del Conde, Ocean View

This was a self catering villa so breakfast not an issue Location was fine a good walk to beach and action but we knew that,

The heated pool was not working on arrival. Took 48 hours to be fixed and finally heat up properly another 24 hours later. Pool in shade all day, partially sunny during late afternoon for short period only. This again not made clear to us. There was a working building site next door to the villa with JCBs moving loads of rubble starting at 0800 which had been ongoing for sometime and villa manager was aware. Nothing said to us when booking, only told on arrival. Cockroaches in kitchen and bathroom downstairs. No barbecue as per spec so manager leant us her own personal barbecue. Villa not equipped properly for amount of pax Inside dining table only for 6 with chairs. Exterior balcony dining only 4 seats. Only 2 sunbeds. otherwise cheap plastic upright small patio chairs left to make up the seating. Twin bedroom actually in the basement so no windows and dark, again nothing said on spec to let us know that beds were not all upstairs as appeared. Wiring dangerous and plug sockets bursting with cables. The light on the stairs down to the basement was hanging off the wall with wires exposed. Basins upstairs had no working plugs so you could not fill the basins, only run the water. Bath plughole rusty and orange , not nice , and shower screen very dilapidated. Very tired old and thin rugs in main lounge and dining area with curled up corners, dangerous to be honest, catching foot in edges. Gather the villa was actually up for sale as owner asked us to go out on a specific day so she could show potential buyers around but I said no to that. Think no real effort gone into this as owner I would think has lost interest now, manager and son did their best but seemed it was a bit of a rushed bodge job to be honest.

La ubicación perfecta y la piscina genial

En primer lugar hice la reserva para 6 adultos y 2 niños, dos días antes de llegar me contacto la dueña y me dice que tengo que pagar 200€ al llegar por los 2 niños.. contacte con Booking y finalmente no pague nada. Al llegar la casa olía mal y estaba sucia. Lavamos unas sabanas y al quitar la funda de la almohada esta estaba llena de manchas amarillas, nos dio mucho asco. Los sofás camas están deformados y muy incómodos. Los colchones horribles. La mampara de la bañera estaba rajada y con un precinto(un poco cutre). La casa tenía detalles de dejadez. La habitación de abajo salieron varias cucarachas. Para el precio que pagamos que no fue poco.. nos esperamos que por lo menos estuviera limpia.

Pool was big and lovely and clean and property very well kept, clean and had everything you need. My self and my family had a lovely time, in alovely location which we like.

Downstairs bedroom could do with air con as the ceiling fan not very affective but was manageable.

This villa has everything you need for a perfect stay. The best thing is a big pool with a heated water.
