The Other Red Hut

found our way easily even though we arrived in the dark. Perfect spot for our dog. Enjoyed its proximity to the Nature reserve. It feels very private and secluded. Appreciated the welcome pack and attention to detail generally- eg torch provided, lights switched on quickly when venturing out into the garden, or to use the sink and bathroom.

Quirky but very comfortable

It was quirky and cosy. It was also extremely close to The Nature Reserve and Rye.

Having the sink outside, could of done with a tap for cole water inside.

Well equipped with lovely extras. Quiet, The outside area was massive the dogs had a great time. The hut is warm, cosy and immaculate throughout, lots of lovely things inside. It’s ideal for a couple wanting a get away. The hosts mick and Sheila are lovely, they made sure we were ok. We would love to go again in the near future. It’s definitely worth a visit. There is internet, kettle. Microwave, toaster, bowls, plates, etc. an outside covered kitchen area. Shower room attached to the property. Outside shoes and dressing gowns are provided. It’s the little touches that make a difference.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely little hut with lots of thought gone into it and very clean and well presented. A few nice welcome bits such as tea, coffee, milk and teacakes. Nice peaceful garden.

A bit of confusion on arrival as we didn't have any details about where to park or how to get into the property. Once I rung the owner Michael who was very helpful, all was sorted.

Great place to stay in a nice quiet location. Large, completely enclosed garden, ideal for our Border Collie. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Only 2 places to eat out in the evening in Rye Harbour itself & we didn't rate either of them!
