"A lovely retreat in the heart of Connemara"

9.0

Sylvain and Mary were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. There was no issue when we requested an earlier breakfast to attend the Tour de Connemara . The breakfasts were excellent, every thing was freshly prepared and served hot.

Nothing .

"Perfect spot in Connemara"

10.0

Perfect location, extremely quiet yet not far from Clifden (30 min), Connemara NP visitor centre or Kylemore. Super comfy room and proper building and facilities maintenance. Nice dinner proposal. Friendly owners.

"French-quality meals, 360-degree nature in a cozy, comfortable but also sustainable and thoughtfully constructed home. H"

9.0

The nature was overwhelmingly astonishing. I have never seen and experienced so much natural beauty. The house is thoughtfully constructed so to enjoy the best views (dawn is amazing) and be as sustainable as possible. The views inside the house feel unreal, as if they were beautiful screensavers from my computer. The meals are delicious and the breakfast includes fresh eggs from their own hen coop. Full Irish breakfast is better than any other restaurant and the salmon with scrambled is made to perfection. There is nothing we didn’t like, expect that it’s a bit far from any convenience shops. But we were glad to be away from people and infrastructure.
