Cabin in da Woods

Beautiful place with a great view and a nice hiking track with a superb view at the top of the hiking track .

Was a bit rainy during our stay .

The cozy atmosphere and the quiet location. Sven the owner was so kind and helpful the entire stay and really made it feel like home! Will definitely recommend to everyone and would love to come back again.

The view was amazing and the location so close to town but felt like the middle of no where.

The floorboards are very squeaky but didn’t affect our trip.

Location. Peace. Very well equipped cottage. Good for 2 couples. Close to La Colombe. Uber availability good. Definitely worth visiting if you need like tranquility. It's a find. Grateful we had this experience.

There are a few stairs- may be tricky for some. The final bit of Rd to the cabin is better done by the owner who Thankfully picked us up from P area. He was great.

Cabin in da Woods is truly a one-of-a-kind escape. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. It was peaceful, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. Our host, Sven, went above and beyond to make our stay special. He was warm, friendly, and accommodating, even surprising us with freshly baked bread at dinner time, which was such a thoughtful touch. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to that scenery alone makes the stay unforgettable. The cabin itself is perfectly equipped, with everything you need whether you’re staying for a night or a few days. It’s comfortable, serene, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect. My daughters and I had a great time with lots of space to accommodate us all. Next time, I’ll definitely be trying Sven’s meals, I can only imagine they’re just as incredible as the rest of the experience. Highly, highly recommend this magical place. 🌿✨

There was nothing to dislike

Everything was amazing. We were not expecting the hosts, Sven and Sarah, to be on same premises but they were absolutely lovely! We had so much privacy in the cabin. Facilities were beautiful, well stocked. Only regret is we didn't make use of Svens amazing cooking. He made us a little treat, freshly made baguette and it was beautiful, completely delicious🤤 .

No complaints, would 100% go again.

Loved everything about the place amazing

Just that it's very skeep to drive up there suggest you go with a bakkie, leaking in the place when it was raining.

The hosts were fantastic they could not do enough for us! Even made us a pizza which was delicious! The view from the house was stunning right in the middle of table mountain national park, it was so peaceful and the cabin itself was so charming and full of character I would recommend this to anyone looking for an escape into nature!

The cabin is up a steep hill and the drive was a bit difficult in our hire car. But in the end we parked at the bottom of the hill and either walked up or the host kindly picked us up and dropped us back down with our luggage.
