Venus Apartments - Szimpla kert II

The apartment is amazing. Next to the best place to visit in Budapest Szimpla kert. Comfy place, beds, clean and great choice. We will be back here :)

Super good location and host! Bright apartment. Warm heating 😁many dishes and all necessary things

Was a bit hard to find at the night:)

The apartment is in a great location, right in the center. The host replied quickly when needed. The inside was enough for two and was convenient.

The bathroom smelled badly, like moss or mold, and it was hard to ventilate the bad air. Another thing was that we didn't get nearly enough toilet paper and garbage bags, as we stayed for a whole week (so we had to buy more toilet paper as there are no staff you can ask for more...). Third and important information for Jews keeping Shabbat - note that the entrance to the building is via an electronic chip (and to exit you need to press an electronic button) so the access is hard on Shabbat, also keep in mind that throughout the entire building are automatic lights (that light up automatically as you pass by) which is also a problem on Shabbat.

When we initially checked in, there was no lighting in the apartment block which was scary & dangerous considering the amount of steps. Our bathroom in the apartment had a terrible smell of mould/damp and remained our entire stay. The apartment was quite cold & it was very noisy at nighttime although I had been told by a member of staff that it wouldn’t be too noisy. It was a disappointing stay compared to the great reviews.

The property had perfect location - everything was near by walking distance. There was smart TV for music and conditioning was a plus. No noises from the street.

Perfect location. A lot of space for 2 people.
