The Paragon, Bath

Great bed, beautifully decorated.

Pretty noisy as it’s located between two major thoroughfares. Being that it’s a historical building the ability to mediate the noise is probably not an option. No trash bin for general garbage and recyclables in the kitchen was awkward. A manual for appliance operations would be helpful.

This apartment was a pleasure to stay in. It was light and airy and clean. A lot of thought has been put in to the decor and facilities. Plenty of space to relax in the lounge, nice kitchen and dining area and the bedroom was comfortable. The location was fantastic. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the actual city centre but less than a 10 min walk to Bath Abbey and shops in one direction and The crescent in another direction. Short walk to Waitrose too. The host was very easy to contact. We had a few message exchanges and they were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this apartment for a stay in Bath.

Nothing! We stayed here during the hot fews days in May and the apartment was really hot, but that is not the fault of the owners. They provided us with a fan. Just something to consider if you like air conditioning in the middle of summer.

The apartment is beautiful and spacious with careful attention to detail, plus only a short walk from everything.

- The apartment is really elegant - it has been decorated and furnished beautifully. It's also very spacious and comfortable. We loved the high ceilings and original features. - The host was very friendly and communicative, answering all our questions before and during our stay. - We liked the ease of controlling the heating via the Nest thermostat. - The apartment is in a fantastic, central location. We could easily walk anywhere we needed. - We appreciated being able to get the keys from a key safe outside the property. It meant we could check in whenever we wanted.

- The kitchen could have been better equipped: Only one of the three frying pans was suitable for the induction hob, and there were only two knives. Overall, we struggled to cook for two people. - The cleaning could be more thorough - the shelf in the kitchen where the plates and mugs were kept had a layer of dust on it, and the living room windows needed cleaning on the inside. - It's a very busy road outside and it is noisy when trying to sleep in the bedroom. However, it was just the noise of vehicles, which is better than the sounds from pubs and clubs (which we've had elsewhere in Bath!)

The style, cleanliness and the facilities available

Noisy road but we were warned about it. The bed was big but slightly uncomfortable at times apart from that the stay was great.
