E&M Apartment Luz

The apartment was really lovely. Comfortable sofas and beds. Spotlessly clean. There was everything you could possibly need to cook with in the kitchen. There was also added extras which we hadn’t expected, tea, coffee, salt, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets, washing machine liquid, and many other items. There were also books and games for children. I can’t rate this apartment highly enough, it was more like a home rather than just a holiday let. The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the beach and the bars/restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Location good. In a quiet area. Facilities excellent. Spacious well equiped appartment.

The property was very clean and spacious. The beds were so comfy. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The resort itself is clean and only a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

The only problem was that the washing machine door was faulty and wouldn't open. But the manager arrived quickly to help out.

Ruim appartement op mooie lokatie 10 minuten lopen naar het strandje van Luz. Het complex is erg ruim opgezet maar wel erg gehorig en de zwembaden te klein. Er wordt massaal aan handdoekje leggen gedaan. Toch zou ik hier weer verblijven want gewoon fijn. Ruime keuken met oven

Ik vond de eenpersoons bedden niet prettig maar dat is persoonlijk.

Heerlijke locatie en lekker ruim en comfortabel appartement in een groot vakantiecomplex. Gelukkig was het voorseizoen en was het niet druk. We kunnen ons voorstellen dat het in het hoogseizoen best gehorig en luidruchtig kan zijn omdat de appartementen dicht op elkaar zitten en het echoot. Wij hebben daar dus geen last van gehad.

Het appartement was zeer compleet, daardoor viel het ons op dat er geen keukendoeken en keukenzeep aanwezig was. Ook was er geen zeep en shampoo in de badkamers. We vergelijken het met soortgelijke accommodaties waar het wel was. Zeker als je reist zoals wij (rondreis per huurauto) zijn dit zaken die voor ons wel belangrijk zijn. Er is een schoonmaakservice. Voor de eigenaar belangrijk om te weten of die hun werk goed doen. Wij hebben daarom rechtstreeks met de eigenaar wat zaken die beter zouden kunnen (o.a. Een koelkast die een goede schoonmaakbeurt kan gebruiken) besproken. Zij zouden contact opnemen met de schoonmaakservice om dit door te spreken en zijn er zelf over 2 weken om te zien of alles oké is.

Great location, 10 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to the pool area (which is nice). It is a very well equipped apartment, nice kitchen, great rooms and a lot of space. We had a bit of a miscommunication about the baby cot, but the owner and host fixed it for us. Praia de Luz is a great town for a vacation with young children, lots of nice restaurants, great beach, all on walking distance. Lagos is just a ten minute drive away. All in all I would recommend it.

The apartment is in need of a deep clean (especially the bathrooms). There were no basic items provided (hand soap, dish soap, etc.), which was a bit inconvenient. The washing machine wasn't working (apparently because of water pressure issues in town), but the host forgot to get back to us until the last day of our stay.
