Blue House HomeStay

Great host family - they want you to have a wonderful stay not only with them but throughout your journey. The basic room was spacious, big comfortable bed (unlike some of the rock hard beds I encountered at other places) and the room had both AC and a fan. I also ordered breakfast for the following morning and received very nice sweet potato pancakes and fruit. As I couldn't finish it all, the home owner packaged it up for me and told me I had lunch as well - very sweet gesture. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stay with them again - truly good people.

Lovely homestay ran by a Vietnamese couple in a small village. They provide a clean spacious room and bathroom with basic amenities - air con, fan, side table and private bathroom adjoining the room. No fridge, kettle or tea making facilities in the room. There is on site parking for mopeds and bicycles and they lock the gate to secure at night. It is in a location where there are limited accommodation options available for a number of miles and a perfect stopover for us cycle touring as the also offer dinner (100000 VND pp) and breakfast (40000 VND pp) which is great after a long ride. The food is of excellent quality, tasty and very generous in its portions - needed when you have cycled 130km to get here! We were very full afterwards. They also catered for my vegetarian diet. It is highly recommended for an authentic Vietnamese homestay experience and especially for cycle tourers as it has all the things you need. We would definitely come back.

Very nice family, good food !!

We stayed here while bicycling through Vietnam. It is a true Homestay with a wonderful family. The upstairs area has a large community area with a balcony. Room is comfortable and basic with a fan and air conditioner. WiFi is excellent. There are a few stores close by and a bakery. Winmart is about 1.5 miles. The family offers dinner (100K per person ) and breakfast (40,000 per person). It is a great place to stay on your way up/down the coast if you like to be in a small town and experience the kindness of a Vietnamese family. There is no sign outside but just look for the blue house and Google Maps has it in the correct location.

I loved the warm embrace to a weary traveler who was banged up from a motorbike accident It was better than a hospital ! It is a family home and it is huge like a mansion I paid $9 It was worth $190

The hotel owner was so pleasant and helpful, cooked me an evening meal and breakfast. He did his best to help me and make sure I had everything I needed. Need more hotel owners like this man.
