The lodge was beautiful, the attention to detail was amazing and it was ever so thoughtful to receive welcome gifts.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and it had everything there that we needed.

Perfect modern comfortable little lodge, immaculately kept and decorated beautifully. The welcome pack was a lovely kind gesture. Also all the essential items around the lodge were a lovely touch.

"Very clean and comfortable lodge in a wonderful area."

Squeaky clean, looked brand new. As if we were the first guests staying there. Host Nadine was very helpful throughout our stay. Her tips for places to visit made for a wonderful vacation in the Forest of Dean. I can definitely recommended this lodge to families (with younger children) and couples who want to explore the area.

We travelled by public transport, which made it somewhat harder to explore the area, so we rented a car for a couple of days, which made things a lot easier (but this had nothing to do with the quality of our stay at the lodge).

It was absolutely beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures, I loved the attention to detail, from the colour scheme to the book of things to do and places to eat and visit in the area. The hosts were super accommodating and thoughtful!

Nothing, couldn’t have been better!

"Great stay, would stay again when visiting the Wye valley"

We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nadine is a thoughtful and welcoming host. Cedar Lodge is very clean, well equipped and comfortable- great for relaxing after a busy day exploring the local area.

We initially drove past the property.
