ZAVery nice farm stay. Comfortable beds. Helpful host. Great add amenities ie braai, hot tub, wood burner to warm the cottage. Safe for our pets.

ZAZAEverything about the house was amazing. Lots of space, beautiful views and had everything you needed. Would be great for a small family reunion as there is a communal kitchen, bathrooms, pizza oven, hall and play area for kids.
The road to the house is gravel road which is a bit annoying to drive when you have a small car.
ZAJan is an exceptional host - present when you need him, invisible when you don't. The hot tub on the private deck with the river sounds below and sheep on the hills and meadows down below, was pure magic, and the welcome touch of fresh farm eggs, real milk, coffee pods and a Nespresso machine made arrival feel genuinely special. The pizza oven, fishing rod, dam paddle, and ample firewood meant there was always something to enjoy without ever feeling like you had to leave the farm.
We genuinely struggled to find fault with this stay. Cell signal and internet connectivity are very limited in this area, which is worth knowing in advance - though for us, it was exactly what we were after and added to the experience of switching off completely.
ZALoved the peacefulness and fresh air. Our host was excellent. If you are a gravel/dirt road lover this is the place for you. Enjoyed Grootvadersbosh, Barrydale, Stillbaai, Vermaaklikheid and Puntjie all accessible via dirt/ gravel roads. Beautiful scenery.

ZAStunning place if you want to wind down, much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Private and feels safe with lots of animals around and beautiful mountain views. Loved the interiors and everything you would need from a self catering unit is available. Will definitely be back. Thanks Jan
ZAWould highly recommend this gem of a relaxing farm stay! Easily accessible by car via a dirt road, great views, a comfortable and well equipped home away from experience for our stop over to the garden route. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, showing us around the property and making sure we're settled in nicely. We will definitely be back for a longer stay to enjoy all the farm has to offer.
Everything was superb. The only small suggestion one could make is to provide some extra portable lighting/candles for sitting outside on the stoep at night.
DEWir haben diese Unterkunft ausgewählt, da sie genau in der Mitte zwischen Wilderness und den Winelands lag. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir sogar um eine Nacht verlängert haben. Im Haus hat man alles was man braucht und es ist sauber. Dazu kommt der wirklich coole Hot Tub auf der Terrasse, der Naturbadeteich zum Abkühlen, die Schaukeln für die Kinder, die Tiere und die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. In 15 Jahren, wenn die Kinder aus dem Haus sind, kommen wir wieder ;)
