Le Petit Kenzara & magical rooftop

Het verblijf zelf is in één woord fantastisch. Het gehele huis voor onszelf, smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van allerlei gemakken. Het was geweldig, ook vanwege de ideale, rustige ligging: op 20 min. loopafstand van de Medina en 3 min. van de taxi-opstapplaats. Supervriendelijk personeel dat meedenkt en ons meteen perfect hielp bij vragen die we hadden. Le Petit Kenzara is het ideale huis voor iedereen die van zelfstandigheid en privacy houdt.

Eén kamer heeft een bad waar je niet in gaat douchen, terwijl de andere kamer merkwaardig genoeg twee douches tegenover elkaar heeft. Dit vergt dus evt. afstemming over wie wanneer doucht.

Petit déjeuner très copieux.Le personnel est aux petits soins. Mohamed s’occupe personnellement de tout vos besoins.Le dîner sur le roof top du Riad est une pure merveille . Le Riadh est excentré du foisonnement du centre de Marrakech.Tout est accessible à pied .

Love the place and decoration have everything what you need, very peaceful and calming. Staff very helpful no request was too much from organising taxis to recommending places.

A beautiful Riad, tucked away in the narrow streets of Marrakesh. Staff provide tasty breakfasts each morning and the evening meal we requested for the first night was also delicious and a great way to start our short stay in Marrakesh. Mohamed was on hand to help with booking taxis and greeted us at the city gate to guide us to the property. Was lovely to relax on the roof, listening to the birds and watching the sunsets. Definitely a 5 star stay.

Le petit is perfect for a romantic getaway, we got engaged on their rooftop during sunset so it will always have a special place in our hearts. Everything worked fine, Internet was good, hot water worked, staff was very nice and breakfast was very good. Aircondtion in the bedroom was top tier! Overall it is such a beautiful place and made our trip just better. We will be comming back no doubt ! You wake up with birds signing in front of your room, its so lovely ♡

It really is a magical place. The rooftop is spectacular and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

As I’d read in a previous review the projector screen was in an awkward position (unable to see from the sofa) but it didn’t affect our stay at all.

I had a nice stay at this riad overall. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very polite. The continental breakfast was also good, and the atmosphere was generally pleasant. I loved the rooftop, the kitchen well equipped and lovely living room.

However, there were a few things that I found inconvenient. The riad doesn’t have a TV, only a projector, but it’s not well-placed. To watch anything, you have to sit at the dining table instead of the sofa, which was not very comfortable. The biggest issue for me was the decor. The riad is full of creepy and unsettling photos, even in the bathroom. This was a huge problem because the kids were too scared to sleep alone, and I had to sleep with them the entire time. Even I found the pictures disturbing at night, which made it difficult to relax. Another inconvenience was the hot water. It runs out very quickly, so filling up the bath was a challenge. After using a small amount, we had to wait a long time for it to heat up again, which was frustrating.

It was our first time in Marrakech and Morocco and the Le Petit Kenzara was a great pick to getting a first and good impression of the country, of the people and the city. The location is very central in the Ancient old town and we got a lot of amazin impressions walking around and enjoying the city. The place itself felt amazing, it was like a palace, had great architecture and heart put into every detail. We also loved the communication with the staff, especially Mohamed, and how they helped to fulfill every single wish of ours. We really liked Marrakech and met many amazing and nice people along our journey. There are many nice cafes and restaurants around and walking the streets felt beautiful and peaceful, both day and night. What we especially loved were the many cute cats on the streets and how the locals care for them!

We noticed a disparity in pricing for services offered by the hotel, which seemed a bit unfair. To me it felt that Moroccans make unreasonably high prices for tourists. This I never experienced in other countries, e.g. when traveling to Italy, Japan, or even Indonesia prices always felt fair, having uniform pricing. This includes charges for taxis, meals prepared by the chef, excursions like the quad bike tours or even simple things like Nespresso coffee capsules. Transparent and fair pricing would have enhanced our experience and created better trust with the country. As tourists and guests, we felt in some ways disrespected due to this price discrimination.

Atmosphere

Small and dark bedroom
