THE LOBS, RUSUTSU

The hosts Winnie and Hubert were outstandingly responsive and attentive to our needs over the duration of our stay. The free shuttle to and from Rusutsu resort was an especially fantastic service and the facilities within the room met all of our needs.

Hubert and Winnie couldn't have been more helpful and courteous as hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I had an issue with my hire car and without Winnies help I would have been completely lost.

The Lobs is like a snowboarder's grand hub for snow adventures at Rusutsu. Our hosts were more than accommodating: shuttling us to and from the resort every day. Our room was incredibly clean and comfortable, filled with modern amenities like a smart TV, fast internet, and a kitchenette. The communication and logistics were great and super easy. We felt very cared for and we made new friends with the hosts and other snowboard guests. We were super grateful for our host taking us around the mountain for a morning, which set us up well for getting to know the off-piste options that are incredibly fun.

Rusutsu is a 10-minute drive away from Kimobetsu, where The Lobs is. Many of the restaurants at the resort close at 3p or open at 6 pm, which means there is not much food option if we finish snowboarding and then take the 5p shuttle back to Kimobtsu. The little town has two izakayas which didn't open very often due to winter vacations. The Lobs offers room service which we didn't know about til later. So we had quite a few seven-eleven dinners.

Clean, well-furnished, comfortable. Hosts were very attentive and accessible. Host-provided shuttle was very nice. Perfect for a small party (2-4) to snowboard Rusutsu.

Location in Kimobetsu is not a tourist friendly town. Very few restaurants and no alternative travel options. It was perfect for my needs but if in search of a resort experience or iff traveling with a large party I might look elsewhere.

Mate it had everything… big comfy beds big screen tv ,heated floors, big enough fridge for the price we got allot more value Toilet shower was the best of all the places we’ve stayed in Japan affordable accommodations by far the lobbs was the best!!! Not to say the other places weren’t good I’m definitely coming back To add the hosts Hubert and Winnie they were awesome they made our trip to rusustu that much better like a family feel love those guys!!! We had the most epic week epic pow !!!

That I couldn’t stay longer

Hosts are a super friendly couple who are on-site and happy to help or offer recommendations. Check-in was super easy (door code into room) and hosts are super communicative and very responsive. Room is large, clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. WiFi works great. Shower gets hot with great water pressure. Room also has microwave and TV with netflix. Parking is available in the driveway. Location is 10 min away to Rusutsu and 30-40min to Niseko for skiing, super convenient. Thank you Winnie for being so welcoming!

Super friendly hosts!! Wonderful place. perfect for me and my son travelling to ski for 3 nights!!

Can sleep 6 with one bathroom. Clean. And relatively new. Street parking. Friendly and helpful hosts. Super Market and convenient store 5 minutes away. Had a pleasant stay! Would recommend

The facilities and room are amazing! Impeccable cleanliness and accommodating host on site. Strategic location where you can easily get to Rusutsu, Kutchan, Niseko and Sapporo by bus! There is also a common area where you can chill and rest with some warm light and beanbags. Every room has a toilet and shower room and the room is spacious, new and clean.

Everything is perfect!
