Corinne and Paul were so welcoming on arrival and personal touches throughout the cottage added to the trip. Perfect stay if you want a relaxing getaway!! Hot tub is a huge bonus.

Location was beautiful! Hosts were lovely and very thoughtful. Lodge was so clean and smelled amazing! Everything you could need and more! Jacuzzi was a bonus! Beautiful place to stay! Will be back in a heartbeat!

Only issue I had was the bed as it wasn’t super comfy for me and the pillows weren’t great but I think that’s just because I’m super picky regarding beds! Everything else I could not fault!

What a fantastic place this is! - Tom & Paul have worked wonders here to create a proper ‘home from home’ - it’s just such a chilled vibe, decor is brilliant, and the word cosy is very apt! - the log fire is brilliant and the hot tub is perfect - super comfy bed and the location is great for a couples get away! Nice and quiet and at the same time it’s only 20 Min drive to the seaside / Arbroath / Dundee / Montrose / Broughty Ferry etc We loved the comfy bed too! - just the wee touches make it so special - wee welcome box on arrival, Scottish touches throughout, smart TV for Netflix, can adjust the TV position on the wall mount arm and the couches are comfy and the wee board games too - we loved it and will absolutely be back! Can’t rate this place highly enough! Thanks so much lads!

Very clean and cosy

Not enough towels provided for hot tub use. We felt one towel each for showering and hot tub use was not enough. The towel use for the hot tub was then wet with chlorine water for showering. It should be stipulated on booking if guests are expected to provide their own towels. Only one bath mat provided and one hand towel also. Either a mop needs to be provided or a much bigger door mat. The floor ended up wet when coming in from the hot tub and was very slippy! There was nothing we could see to mop up the water and had to use the bath mat/towel. The bucket of kindling was almost empty on arrival and not a sufficient amount supplied to start more than one fire. Additional was purchased at a local supermarket. From reading guest book slippers, milk and orange juice have previously been provided for guests. We did not have any of these items.

Well equipped , comfortable , quiet and relaxing. Wood burner was excellent and heated place up quickly.

Only 1 total each supplied and with being in and out of hot tub I think another towel each would have been better. Hot tub was really good but maybe some sort of windbreaker to prevent wind from blowing between the buildings and straight onto it would make it a better experience and wouldn't be hard to do with buildings there too support it and would also prevent pine needles from blowing all around and being brought into accomodation .
