"Loved the surroundings and facilities"

8.0

The surroundings were beautiful although the hedge could be made shorter in front of the tent as it felt a bit closed off. The tent was clean and stocked well

The tent ropes need tightening as it was very windy and the tent felt very wobbly at times

"Lovely quiet retreat, perfect for couples"

10.0

Lovely location, nice and quiet but walkable distance to a pub/chippy both of which were great and a short drive to several parts of the coast Tent was lovely, set up with everything you could need and a really comfy bed! Firewood was a really nice touch too, great to sit by the fire and see the stars! Shower/toilet were both lovely - I was bit apprehensive about shared toilets etc but there were several dotted around, even with all the tents/huts booked we didn’t need to queue for anything and despite being compost or “outhouses” all were lovely and clean and the loo with a view was fun!! Shower was also gorgeous with the open roof section!

Nothing!

The peace and quirkiness of all the personal touches which were wonderful!

It was all good but a sink in the outdoor shower cubical would be useful for shaving.

"Exceptional choice for those who wants comfy place close to nature"

10.0

We rented a tent which was practically and beautifully furnitured. It was equipped with everything we might need: cutleries, pans, fridge, stove, cups and plates, heated blanket, drinking water and logs. Every little delails were in place. The tent- and altogether with all the areas were stylish, clean and very well maintained. Soap, towels, washing up liquid were available too, so really, we just needed to relax. ;)

"Very comfortable with everything provided"

Everything we could want was in the bell tent ready for us, comfortable bed, lovely lights, we particularly enjoyed the log fire with extra logs and lighters ready.

We didn't see the owner or staff

We loved the location. We loved the place its self. The tent was beautiful

We stayed Saturday 6th september for my husbands birthday, just the 2 of us. Phillippa went above and beyond for us arranging balloons and banners, we couldn't ask for more. We were so pleased and excited for a lovely night stay!.. We went out for tea then back to the fire pit and a few drinks, we had a great time but we were really put off with getting a message around 8.30pm asking us not to have music on (which was only from our phone so not loud) because the tent next door were trying to sleep! Really ruined the night having to sit in silent. I have never known this in any site we have stayed in! Quiet time has always been around 11pm everywere we have been, not 8.30!.. To then be woken up from the same tent next door at 6am making lots of noise and children running around and screaming and shouting. Resulting in us leaving at a rediculously early time. Really ruined our experience and night away. We were really wanting to book up with our children again another night as we know they would love it! But this experience really ruined it for us.
