Just a really cosy cottage

The key safe was awkward to access not being used to one. It was dark when we arrived and even with a torch it took quite a while for my husband to get into it. Instructions on how to reduce the heating would be useful.

Asking the owner to provide tea bags and milk on arrival and they agreed - thankyou! Location ! Close to the beach! We took 5 walks a day, especially to catch the sunset. Everything is here for cooking your own meals. All cleaning products, dishwasher tabs and even washing powder. There's a spice rack. No restrictions on where my dog could go in the cottage which made our stay easier not having to keep him off the furniture etc.

The bed in the master bedroom needs a new mattress. I have a hurt back from sleeping on it. The pillows were so comfortable though. Couldn't use the washer as there was no tumble dryer ( I would have loved to wash our clothes and take them home fresh on the last day) There wasn't a booklet left which told how everything worked so when the cooker started beeping every 10 seconds our only option was to turn it off to get to sleep on the last night. The see through panel in the bathroom door is a privacy issue. There wasn't a back garden, this wasn't clear from the advert. The cottage looks like a garage conversion and the drive is tiny so needing to park car at a difficult angle on the drive to prevent getting a parking ticket due to the cottage being within yellow lines/ no school parking.

I know the area and this was the perfect location for me. 2 minute walk into the village and ten minutes to the beach. Nice modernisation of an old building. Pet friendly and well provisioned.

Slightly ill fitting cupboard and shower doors need attended to but that is a minor issue
