Tigh Beag Na Mara

Loved everything! Amazing house, lovely location. We were so lucky with the weather and had an amazing holiday! Didn't want to leave! The only downside (more Skye in general) was the size of the potholes. An SUV would have been better for the trip.

Margaret thought of EVERYTHING! She had a snack basket, stocked basics in the fridge and had goodies on the counter, too. She had easy to follow instructions for the fire stove (which I used a lot!) and plenty of wood available to use. Beautiful fresh daffodils all over the house. The beds were so comfortable and I slept so well. The house was gorgeous and was so quiet and serene. The view was absolutely phenomenal! Definitely enjoyed sitting in the solar room, drinking tea and staring at the views.... and snuggling up on the sofa under blankets with the fire going. The internet was fast and the TV was just the best size with access to streaming TV. I can't wait to come back in the future!

It was a fantastic property and we had a great stay. The location is beautiful, and the property was very well appointed, very clean , warm and comfortable. Whilst we didn't meet the host face to face it was clear they were available to advise and assist should we have needed.

My father and absolutely loved the stay. Margaret was the nicest host, clear in communication and prepared us a welcome gift. The house is big, has all facilities and feels luxurious. The house is detached which makes it a little bit more private as well. The area and surrounding is absolutely amazing. Location wise it’s perfect to visit the rest of Skye ( Talisker 35m drive, Trotternish Hike up north is 1hr drive). By far our best stay in Scotland, definitely would come back.

Everything was super clean!!

The setting was wonderful, with views of water, distant mountains, grazing sheep, and endless skies. We were only 10 minutes from 3-4 good restaurants in Dunvegan. The house was roomy, comfortable, attractive, well-equipped, and clean.

What a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous cottage, very well equipped, comfortable, extremely clean with thoughtful additional treats and supplies provided by our host. We amended our plans to spend more time to enjoy the view, the cottage and the surrounds. Easy access to all attractions on the Isle of Skye. Our best stay in our 6 week journey so far. We were sad to leave.
