CATHE TERRACE! LOCATION 10 out of 10! It was a clean and spacious unit. Equipped with all that you would need for a small apartment for a short or a long stay. We stayed for two days, and our experience with the host(s) were amazing. The odd thing that was needed sorting out was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our host(s) communication with us via WhatsApp and within the booking site was excellent. Located in the Santa Cruz area of town provided us with that a rich and romantic old world feel. The terrace on the second level was a great spot to enjoy our morning coffee, mid day break as well as a late night glass of wine. The view of the old part, the new part , the water as well as the beautiful castle of Santa Barbara was spectacular. Tons of restaurants within walking distance yet quietly away from the busy and loud downtown area. We LOVED our stay Highly recommend Casa en las Rocas!
Every thing was excellent!
ROThe location is at the top of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, which has some stunning views, but be aware that it's difficult to get there with heavy baggages. The terrace was superb, with direct views to the mountain and the sea, and the beach is a 10 minute walk away (which was right through the old town so I got some sightseeing as well) The separation of toilet room shower room was helpful.
The rocks in the house were "leaking" so over the course of our stay, the areas right underneath the rocks collected some sort of sand/dust, which easily fell off, but was annoying still. The rocks also gave off a humid smell, which disappeared once we ventilated and turned on the dehumidifier. The AC was leaking when fully turned on, the host offered to call a technician on the spot, but it didn't bother us and postponed the fix. The bathrooms were pretty small and kind of difficult to use.
