Francesco the host was super nice and helped with many things and even invited us to his beach on the lake. The view is emazing and the apartment is very close to the old town

The apartment is nice but like many other in italy a bit old. Still everything works ok

See oli meie Itaalia ringreisi viimane majutuskoht, mis ületas igasuguseid ootusi. Meile avanes imeilus vanalinnakorter veelgi ilusama vaatega suurele järvele. Korter oli suur, hubane, väga puhas ja mugav. Peremees oli lahke ja sõbralik, abivalmis ning oleme tänulikud, et lubas varem sisse registreerida ja hiljem ka välja registeerida. Sellest korterist kahe sammu kaugusel oli armas väikelinnake mõnusate kohvikute ja vaadetega. Kirikust kostus koorilaulu ja kogu õhtu oli täis Itaalia romantikat. Meile väga meeldis ja kui peaksime järgmine kord sinna ligidale lennujaama maanduma ja vajaksime öömaja, kindlasti tuleksime jälle! Aitähh

The view was stunning! Staff are great and they had some snacks and groceries for free, a lot of kitchen equipment. unfortunately we only stayed for one day there but I wished we could live there.

We were five people so one of the beds was below a staircase kind of like Harry Potter, was not a big deal at all.

The room was perfect, well designed and had great views of the sea with 2 exposures, even in the bathroom had an ocean view. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. Very pleasant staff overall.

Gosh where do I even start! From the amazing communication by Francisco to his sweet mama offering help, with the views to die for, the cutest little village, and the train direct to Rome, what more could you want? The accomodation is sturdy, spacious, and very comfortable. Air con in the bedrooms is so great. The family leave you so many goodies. Espresso pods, juices, yoghurts and a big tray of those packaged Melba toasta and croissants etc. There is also extra stuff for the bathroom and anything you need you just ask them. Yes the road to the beach club or train station is steep and walking up I needed to stop here and there. But as someone recovering from operations and chemo I still managed it! The train runs approximately once an hour and takes 50 mins or so into Roma Termini. From then you can walk or metro everywhere. In Castel Gandolfo itself you'll find quite a few restaurants and cafes, a pharmacy, a small superette full of amazing cured meats and really delicious bread. Our best night was at the local restaurant Arte e Vino where we had a lovely waiter (from Bangladesh originally). He was so fantastic and the food was delicious. He showed us around the many rooms and underground tunnels. If you can you should see that! Honestly I wanted to live here forever! Anything you need you WhatsApp Fransisco and Google translate takes care of anything too tricky. We hope to be back one day.

Everything was great! You will need to wash any clothes in a sink, then hang off the special line in the balcony. We bought clothes washing soap at a supermarket in the neighboring village and left some there for future guests. I'm sure had we asked Francisco's mama she would have offered to get us some, that's how kind they are. Also my kids couldn't unlock the bathroom from inside so we just shut the door instead :)
