Apartment in the Heart of Old Riga

Despite the building is very old and cracky, the surprise is when you enter the apartment, because it has been totally refurbished. It is nice, big and quite. Good central location!

- We spent three nights there and nobody contacted us. - Nobody informed us that the central heating didn’t work when the temperature outside was 2 degrees celsius. It was freezing inside. When we contacted the owner explaining the situation, he or she already knew about it, he or she only said it didn’t work and sorry! What??? If you already know about that problem at YOUR place with that temperature, at least, you should leave a portable heater. We complained and he or she never got back. A totally careless host. In this review I have written ‘he or she’ because never introduced him or herself as I did. - Microwave still didn’t work as somebody said in another review. - Be careful with the steep staircase.

Location was great. Right at the old town. I got there later at night, and stayed one night only as I had a long layover until next flight The apartment was quiet IThi, had a comfortable sleep and a good shower in the morning

It's a beautiful city where all monuments are close to them selfs. The room is located in quiet area with, well communicated with rest of the city.

It's on the third floor with no lift, the building is a bit old but the interior has been refurbished. The TV is in a very awkward position. There was a loose floor board and one of the light did not turned on. These are all minor issues. The positives vastly outweighs the negatives.

Beautiful rooms and great location!

I wanted a bottle opener.Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the electric stove. It was difficult to unlock the door and it took me a while to figure it out!

The host was very helpful with our request for early check in. Even though I missed the part in the text regarding access code she has patiences and was kind to guide me through the next steps. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for a short stay
