Velvet 2-bedroom apartment, Conduit Lane, Hoddesdon

This property is centrally located and an easy walk to town. It had the facilities we needed and it was good that there was a washing machine and a clothing horse for drying clothes.

The cleaning supplies/amenities (bin bags, dishwashing liquid etc) were not stocked up so we had to buy our own. The washing machine was also dirty and had mould growing so we had to clean that before using it. We did not have enough towels for our 8 day stay. When we contacted the host they said they would bring items but did not do this when they said they would. The property felt smaller than the pictures indicated.

The cleanliness of the entire place and the peaceful environment. The ambience is good and very convenient for eating out and very near groceries

first day was disappointment when there was no hot water but when sorted out we are very comfortable

The apartment was very secure and so was the parking, great host told where to go for meals etc Close to shops and restaurants

We had a problem getting the heating in but eventually got there, maybe if it was switched on for guests arriving, especially at this time of year...that would be better. Bedroom blind feel off but didn't seem to be very securely fixed.

Apartment and Balcony were great.

Beds could be a bit more comfortable.
