Very helpful host, always available for questions or tips for Kyoto. The flat was super - very beautifully decorated with Ghibli and other anime objects, and overall very well equipped. We loved it. The best stay in Japan so far.

Everything was perfect! Atsundo is a perfect host, attentive, quick responsive and helpful. The apartment is just great, with manga decorations everywhere which we really appreciated as well as our daughter who could use some games that were at our disposal. Very modern and super clean, spacious and with all facilities. The futon in the sleeping room were super comforable!! We had snacks and water when we arrived and Atsundo left us loads of recommendations on where to eat, what to visit etc. It is located just behind Toji temple, a bus stop is very close and Kyoto train station is just 18min walk away. We could check-in earlier at our arrival and Atsundo took us at the train station by car for our departure as it was raining in Kyoto. We never had that before from a host, really super kind and helpful! We definitely recommend and if one day we'll have the chance to come back to Kyoto we'll choose Atsundo's place again for sure. Thank you very much!

We had a great time and felt very comfortable during our stay. The apartment was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. It felt like living in a traditional Japanese home, which we really enjoyed—it was a unique and lovely experience. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and there are several bus stops nearby, which made getting around easy. Just keep in mind that it takes about 30–40 minutes by bus to reach the main attractions in Kyoto. The host was very kind and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Accomodation was very clean and well facilitated, you can tell the owner put in a lot of heart in decorating it. The owner was responsive and he even sent us to the station after we checked out.

House can be a little hard to find, even though it’s close to Kyoto station.

We are glad to have stumbled on this excellent property about a 20 min walk away (when the weather is not hot) from Kyoto station. There were excellent touches by the hosts all through the apartment. The hosts themselves were really thoughtful - picked us up from the station because we had a baby with us, made a bed specially for the baby, etc. Communication throughout was great. Place felt like a home. Clean throughout. All instructions and suggestions clearly displayed. Bus stop to the train station less than 100m away. Go ahead and book this - you won't regret your choice.
