Great hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location
The Alcázar is located in a quiet area just a few minutes walk to the town square. We stayed in a garden room with views over the gardens toward the mountains. Everything was really well maintained and spotlessly clean, which given the hotel is quiet new would be expected. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was compact with a small balcony, the bed was supremely comfortable, the air con worked well and the shower was excellent. There is a lack of storage in the room which was a little irritating as there was no where to store cases.The pillows were too soft and not at all supportive; firmer pillows were not available. The main irritant was the noise of staff using walkie talkies in the corridors.The other issue was the noise whenever furniture was moved in adjacent rooms. This would probably be rectified if they fitted glides to the legs of the chairs. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The gardens and pool were lovely. Overall a great hotel, with lovely staff , very comfortable beds , great showers, a quiet yet central location, with good views from the garden rooms. If they could address the noise issues and improve the pillows this would be a pretty perfect hotel.

A boutique hotel with comfortable beds, good breakfast and friendly service. Located conveniently - 8 mins from the bus stop, less than 5 mins away from the very centre plaza of Soller. + Offers underground parking with bike parking area too + Breakfast is high standard, with a lot of meats and vegetables, baked goods, juices and even some bubbly cava if you fancy a "mimosa". You might have to wait in a queue for coffee though, as there's only one coffee machine and I did not see any gluten free bread option, nor the famous Mallorcan sobresada + Staff is friendly and helpful + Area outside looks much nicer than on official photos - pool area is big and lovely, also there's a sauna there (just you need to ask at the reception to prepare it for you in advance) + You get all the gadgets for your stay which you would expect from a high standard hotel - slippers, separate towel for the pool area, wooden comb and shaver and more + Interiors are stylish and well maintained + Fresh water bottle was brought to the room daily So all nice, we enjoyed our stay and we plan to return someday
