Giles was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was very comfortable. Cereals, toast, a cooked breakfast and preserves provided

I would have given everything a top rating had it not been for the bacon at breakfast, which lacked flavour. Only a tiny negative.

Everything was comfortable, fairly quiet, clean and cosy and the food was very good.

Parking was a slight issue; we had to find a space somewhere in the locality which was a bit of extra fiddle after a long journey.

The location was good with easy access to the cliff walks, the castle and the main street. The breakfast was very good and the host very welcoming and helpful. I needed a taxi early in the morning on the day I left and he ordered it for me.
