What a great find! Everything from the rooms to the breakfast to the hosts themselves was exceptional. Things that stood out for me were the complimentary wine and snacks on arrival, the fantastic breakfast, the comfortable beds and of course the inn itself which has been beautifully restored. We will definitely stay here again anytime we’re in the area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Inn of Claysburg (Das Gasthaus)! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and right at home. The entire place has such a warm, cozy, and peaceful atmosphere—it truly feels more like staying with family than at a typical inn. A huge shoutout to Angie and Bryan—they were hands down some of the best hosts we’ve ever experienced. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making sure every detail of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests, and that makes all the difference. The breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday morning were incredible—honestly, it felt just like sitting down to a home-cooked meal from mom. Everything was fresh, delicious, and made with love, which really added that extra special touch to the whole experience. The inn itself was very clean, beautifully kept, and extremely comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy some peace and quiet. Whether you’re just passing through or planning a getaway, this is definitely a place you’ll want to stay. We would absolutely give this place a 10 out of 10—and even higher if we could! We can’t recommend it enough, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. Angie and Bryan, thank you for such a wonderful stay—we’ll definitely be seeing you again soon!

This was possibly the nicest run B&B we've ever seen. World travelers with good taste will appreciate this gem. We'll be back. Good all around.
