The Border Post, Bed and Breakfast

The bed was comfortable.

An amazing stay with old world charm and hospitality. Bed and pillows heavenly, food delicious and coffee, well I’d hire their barista any day. Thank you Paul and staff for making our stay one to remember.

I was given a room without shower even though it said on booking.com the room would have a private walk-in shower - all it had was a bathtub without showerhead. All you could take was a bath. How useless is that? Never seen something like that in a hotel before... When I asked for a workaround (change of room or possibility to take a shower in another room), the owner wasn't able to provide any solution. When I pointed out that the room didn't match the online description and that I wished to cancel the booking, he didn't show any understanding and refused to give me a refund (or a discount). Ended up driving to another hotel way after dark. Can't recommend staying at this place.

Gute Unterkunft, etwas spartanisch und abgewohnt aber hervorragend als Zwischenstopp auf unserer Südafrikarundreise. Unser Zimmer hatte leider keine Duschmöglichkeit sondern nur eine Badewanne ohne Brause. Das Abendessen (nicht im Buchungspreis enthalten), war köstlich und günstig.

Als Durchreiseunterkunft zu empfehlen.
