Could do with more attention to emptying bins etc. breakfast was not amazing.

Drying room had steep access- due to high levels of snow. Maybe concrete steps or similar in the future.

For one of the cheapest accommodations I could find in Hakuba Valley, it met expectations. It was comfortable, the staff were friendly, great location (1 minute walk to ski slope, 2 minute walk to bar/restaurant). It's also away from the hustle and bustle of some of the busier parts of the valley. Don't expect anything luxury, but it's a warm bed and included breakfast, so everything you need for a ski holiday. The only real letdown was that the drying room wasn't always turned on at night, and we were left with damp clothes some mornings.

Location was great. Had a ski lift at the rear of the property and from there you could catch a free snow buggy transfer to Norikura where the more beginner slopes were. No convenience stores nearby so we paid the staff to drive us to one that was 10 mins away. Would be better if they had water and some snacks that could be purchased at the lodge to save a trip. Family room was spacious but didn't realise it was shared shower facilities. Not a deal breaker as we had a toilet in our room at least. For the location and time of year the accommodation.was good value. The Endless pub just on the corner did great food as did the Mexican restaurant only 2 doors up from the pub.

Staff were young and a bit inexperienced Didn't really fill us in much about what to do in the area. They didn't even mention about the free snow shuttle and they were driving us for a fee to Norikura for the first 2 days until we figured it out ourself. The toaster for breakfast was broken. It costs like $10 to buy another. Seriously!. They said they did a shop on Sundays but Monday morning for breakfast they were basically out of Peanut butter and tomoto sauce. There is a drying room downstairs which isn't the easiest to access due to the snow and it appears it is left up to the guests to shovel the snow out of the way themselves to access the doors. Just a bit more care factor from the staff would be good.

Great location for skiing in Cortina. Only one bar nearly, 30mins on ski bus to hakuba

The staff were really accommodating. The location is amazing. 2 min walk to ski down to the first lift. Whilst the whole valley was really busy, there were so little people on the slopes next to the hotel.
