Lavender Lodge - Modern apartment in York, near Racecourse

Excellent location, just on the outskirts of york so easy to pop in using taxi or driving but furth enough out to be quiet. The propety is very modern and has all the mod cons and was very clean. Perfect for couples or families, locally to the property there is a coop and numerous take aways and also a pub! Would stay here again.

The only thing I would say is the propety could of done with a microwave to reheat some bits but not the end of the world!

This place was an ideal location to stay for us just off the A64 with a bus stop virtually right outside the property so we could just nip on a bus and go into the centre of York .The place was compact clean and tidy with all mod cons.Parking was good and the place was well secure with a private area to sit outside.

The only thing we could say is that the A64 runs along side so it's a constant drone from the traffic (this can't be fixed] but inside is hardly noticeable.

Great communication from hosts prior to arrival. Once at property access was great with private secure access gate and key locker. The property has a great little courtyard garden area access to entrance. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean with great facilities and a comfortable bed. The property was located just off the A64 with easy access to York city centre, either by bus or the local park and ride.

A little bit of road noise could be heard, but the hosts had thought of this and supplied ear plugs which were not needed as not overly problematic.

Appartment was very clean, tidy, well equipped and everything working. Good location for ease of access to major roads and getting into the city. Had a dedicated parking space and the host had thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Some additional clothing storage/drawers would be helpful.

Lovely apartment perfect for my work location. Great for getting In to and out of York. Clean and comfy, modern and upto date. Lovely outside area to sit in-if you wanted to. Absolutely lovely place.

Some A road noise but im used to it so didn't bother me was not bad when windows are closed. They do provide ear plugs which is great.

The location for our trip to York Racecourse was excellent. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we could wish for. The decor had been chosen thoughtfully and made the stay feel more personal than a hotel.
