We areived an hour before check-in and immediately notified the host, who responded within the hour and let us know that we could enter a little early, per my request. That was nice, and we knew they did not have to do that, so it was much appreciated. The location was very good. Short walk to the beach and a wonderful little bar and restaurant (casa playa) right across the street. (We ate there frequently and enjoyed their white and red sangrias.) The lodging had a pool that was clean but very warm, so not very refreshing. It was really hot so I'm sure there was not much cool water to be found anywhere! There were nice beach towels available in our room, which was a nice touch.

The walls were so thin that we could literally hear every single thing our neighbors said and did. And they were very loud and disrespectful neighbors who came home after 1 am and talked and laughed loudly until after 4 am both nights. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There were no extra bath towels--for 3 days we had one towel and one washcloth each! At the beach you bathe .multiple times a day and definitely need more. Finally, the apartment is advertised as a full apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. It is not that at all. It is a hotel room with a mini fridge and a small microwave! There are no dishes and no stove or sink in the "kitchen"-- other than the mini fridge and microwave, nothing except for coffee cups and maybe some silverware. A roll of paper towels, and a coffee maker. There is a laundry room with a coin operated washer and dryer on the facility...not in the apartment. There is no laundry soap or place to buy it. When I contacted the management about this, they argued, saying that I should have looked at the pictures of the room better. Sorry, I trusted their description was sufficient and didn't know I had to compare to suss out the truth about what I had rented!

Location was great, ac, wi fi worked. Pool clean and open. Good price.

Small but ok for a solo traveller. Not well sound insulated.
