CAUTION/ATTENTION : BEDBUGS/PUNAISES DE LIT !!! (Cf pictures) Worst experience in India after two years living here. Checked in at 5.30pm in room 201. A pillow was stained with black and asked to change it. Only later did I understand those stains were bedbugs faeces.. After a quick shower, I went out for dinner. When I came back I laid in bed for an hour, when I realised BEDBUGS/PUNAISES DE LITS were in the sheets (cf pictures I shared). I went to reception, saying I was leaving the hotel to go elsewhere as the room was infested. The reception boy told me they had a no-refund policy and that i could change my room but no be refunded. I said I understood, but that in order to have a no refund policy, the basic hygiene should be met (bedbugs, but also a terrible humidity with water pearling on the mirror's glass). I asked to speak to the manager of the hotel, he said he was the manager. From there we tried arguing (he translated from.hindi to English on google). Then, he went for the main door of the hotel, and LOCKED IT and said "no-refund".. he basically LOCKED ME IN THE HOTEL. The situation got very very tense from there onwards and didn't turn out to be violent only for my patience. Then, he finally calls the real manager. I have a conversation with the manager, who says the same about the no-refund policy. So finally, when I'm.done speaking to the manager, the reception boy opens the entrance door. I leave, with no refund. In the same street, I finally go to another hotel (at least 7 other hotels in the same street), where I find a good room cheaper, for Rs600.. That night I lost Rs700 which is ok, money isn't the issue here. The issue is I'm still wondering if I brought back begbuds with me back home (parasites extremely hard to get rid of). Moreover, the issue is that I was locked in the hotel by a very threatening boy. If not for my calmness, the situation would've turned violent very easely..
