Good size, good location, looks pleasant

There is no natural light. The person who manages communications was texting me all the time

- cute studio - very nice to have found a bottle of water, coffee pods and sweets - location between the center of Ortigia and historical landmarks, a 4 min walk to the bus stop makes it super convenient - good value - nice new airco - spacious - responsive host - comfy bed

- there was a strong bad smell of something like mold, I don’t know what but it was not smelling fresh - I felt like sleeping on the street, the front door was so thin that I could hear every single move outside (and I am a deep sleeper). I stayed two nights: Friday there was a concert until midnight, so didn’t get a sleep, as it was super noisy, saturday there were cars and motorcycles until 4 am, so also didn’t get a sleep. One more person wrote a similar review and I also did not feel safe, as the door was too thin, so I was worried someone could literally enter… :( but again, there are many pros for the place - there was a washing machine advertised in the description and the list of items, however it was not there. I found out later that in the section “important information” it was mentioned you have to inform and pay for it… well, then why mention it’s there in the first place and not indicate there’s a charge for it… - if you’re tall, consider the ceiling where the bed is is very low, maybe 150cm, as I hit my head three times 😅

Very convenient location. Understanding owner. Moderate price.

No windows. Low ceilings at the second level. Overall, relatively minor issues if you plan to spend most of the time exploring Syracusa.

Close to train station and bus stop. Close to bakery and other facilities.

the apartment was just like in the pictures and very nice comfortable. It was very clean and we had a very warm welcome. We had everything we needed and it was very close to the train station.

It’s quite dark in general as the door is the only source of natural light. But you don’t want to spend to much time indoors anyway ;)
