Clean & tidy,ideal location for our job

There was no where to hang clothes up in the second bedroom(no wardrobe or hooks)just a set of drawers

Spacious living room, reasonably sized bedrooms, perfect for a group of 4 adults ( 2 couples). Very comfortable sofas in the lounge to share evening drinks. Enough pans and pots to cook a meal for 4 people ( but no tray to use oven or grill). Good size fridge - it was easy to store breakfast food for 4 people for 2 days. There was ice ready for us in the freezer. Radiators are fully operational, get quickly hot, perfect for those who like their room to be warm. Two bathrooms - no need to share your bathroom with another couple

1) No dishwasher, only three mugs for four people, would like more plates, serving bowls, mugs and cutlery to comfortably serve food for 4 people. 2) Duvets are fully synthetic - very sweaty inside for those who like to sleep in cool conditions. When you take such a duvet off, it feels cold without it, but under it it's too hot. My guest had struggled to sleep well because of it. On the other hand, there was no additional duvet for those who like to feel extra warm when they fall asleep. 3) Only two rolls of toilet paper in the whole flat for 4 people, both rolls were under 50% full ( this means we had equivalent of one toilet paper roll for 2 days for 4 people) - I was worried we might run out. Thankfully we didn't, but if anyone had needed more paper for any health reasons, we would have run ourselves into an awkward situation. 4) a bit complicated instructions were emailed to me just 1 hour before our planned arrival, on how to get into the building and where to find the keys. We arrived in heavy rain and after dark, it was a bit tricky to follow the instructions. 5) one bathroom had just a bath, no shower extension. This was uncomfortable.

They take a £200 deposit before check-in. Not mentioned anywhere on booking.com. It just states you may need to pay for damage up to £200 after check out. I'm still waiting for the deposit back. The apartment was filthy when we arrived and took them 1.5 hours to get cleaners round. Suggested it was our fault for making a late booking (5 hours prior to arrival). If it's not ready, then dont advertise it! We needed to get ready quickly to head out to a wedding, so with no clean towels and a dirty bath & shower, this was incredibly challenging. I raised my concerns with the company along with pictures and gave them a chance to reply. They haven't bothered. I see some good reviews, and if the place was clean and they were upfront about deposits, then I may have been writing a different review. All in all, not a great experience.
